The U-2 Incident
U2 is easily one of the
biggest bands in the world! While they
have been “packing them into sold out concert venues for years,” in 2004,
U2 was also inducted into the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame! You would be hard
pressed to find a man, woman, or child that isn’t familiar with some era of
U2’s music.
Proving their
influence most recently with Grammy winning songs like Vertigo, All Because Of You, and Beautiful Day, U2 is still THE
force to be reckoned with in popular music today. Performing songs that everyone knows, remembers, and loves,
The U-2 Incident brings them to life in an energetic stage show that
remains faithful to U2’s punk origins while still capturing their 21st
century relevance.
Based in
Ohio, The U-2 Incident is striving to be the Ultimate U2 tribute band. The members of The U-2 Incident have
performed at venues in other musical groups all over the Midwest including
the Gund Arena. Collaboratively, they joined together to
tailor The U-2 Incident show to showcase the unique and challenging music
of U2. The band is comprised of
Chris Stafford (Bono), Rick Friedline (The Edge), Greg Maxin (Adam
Clayton), and Bob Devereaux (Larry Mullen, Jr.). The U-2 Incident
painstakingly recreates both the look and sound of ALL eras of U2's long
history.
The U-2 Incident is dedicated to
bringing U2's music to fans everywhere.
Through our musicianship, staging, sound, philosophy, and reverence
for the material, we think even U2 would be proud.
